Referencing the Yin and Yang sign, "Ab Initio" displays the primary forces of the universe.  It is the initial separation of one into two where one is the reflection of the other but not a perfectly symmetrical reflection.  Like splitting the atom this is the millisecond before the big bang, a true beginning, a metaphor for the initiation of life and the perpetual battle with entropy.
