As collaboration with the City of Palo Alto’s public art program, Stanford University commissioned this piece
for the entrance of the Stanford Shopping Center. "Qualia" (meaning: instances of conscious experience) was designed like the hypothetical maps of electron orbits. It offers an animated welcome to the visitors to the center.
